Alongside his general physiotherapy practice Mark is passionate about and highly trained in acupuncture, Pilates and tai chi. Mark completed his postgraduate Diploma of Acupuncture in 1988, and has regularly travelled to China to further his abilities in this unique and effective form of therapy. On a trip to China, Mark also became interested in the practice of tai chi and its benefits in managing arthritis. As a result Mark has trained extensively with Dr. Paul Lam to become a registered instructor in Dr. Lam's Better Health Tai Chi Chuan. Additionally Mark was invited in 2013 to become a board member of the international Tai Chi for Health Institute and is currently acting as it's treasurer.
